Celebrate Summer the Hood River Way
From Concerts to the 4th of July Parade — Join Us for the Summer events that Make Hood River Special
Summer in Hood River is more than a season — it's a celebration of community, connection, and long-standing traditions. From dancing barefoot at Families in the Park concert series to waving flags at the 4th of July Parade, there’s something for everyone in our little town with a big heart.
We bring these events to life with the help of volunteers, neighbors, and local businesses — the very people who make Hood River shine. Whether you're a longtime resident or a visitor looking to experience small-town magic, you're invited to join us for a summer full of music, laughter, and memory-making moments.
Using cans & bottles for good.
You may have seen our quiet little trailer parked in the Hood River Supply lot—it’s a hardworking asset for Hood River! The funds we raise through can & bottle collections go back into the community with grants, benefiting local groups and organizations.
